Guild Wars 2

I bought WvW lvl 80 exotic armour and used 6 Scholar runes on it.
Now I have a new armour set because WvW one was just temporary and I don’t like the skin on it.

I am going for new Runes on my other Armour set so I wanted to salvage the WvW armour to regain my Runes and sell it on the Trading Post because they are worth some gold each.

Now it turns out that I can not salvage the WvW armour and wasted ~16g on runes.

Is it a bug ingame? Or is there a way to return the Runes?

Transmutation crystals. But it will cost some gold. But since you need 6, and 5 costs 200 gems, its 400 gems, but 400 gems cost more than 16g of runes, so. I’m afraid you have to buy new runes.
