As part of the borderland, you have the Skritt and Centaur territories in the NW and NE of the map repectively. Every once in a while some of the Skritt will wander south from their home and attack the NW supply camp. The problem is with the Centaur. I’m going to assume that they’re meant to do something similar and travel south from their home and attack the NE supply camp, but they always spawn on the west side of the map, and also attack the NW supply camp, the same as the Skritt.

I know this doesn’t really present a problem to anyone who actually plays WvW and as such should be low on the list of things to fix, but I’ve not seen anyone actually report it yet, and my OCD finally caught up to me and made me write this.

Are you saying that you believe that the original design was that the skritt and the centaurs were supposed to randomly, sometimes attack two different camps?

I think there are other possibilities:

  • There was no specific design. It’s an accident of camp locations, geography, and NPC AI/pathing.
  • The specific design was for both groups to attack the same camp.

Yes, that exactly what I’m saying. I believe the Centaurs are meant to attack the NE camp, which is on their side of the map. Just seems to make more sense than having Skritt and Centaur spawn in the same location only on one side of the map, the west side, when the Centaur home is the east side. As I said, it’s not a problem which affects gameplay, and causes no problems to anyone in WvW, it just seems wrong. I could be mistaken, and it might be working as intended, and I doubt many people have even paid attention to it, but I thought I’d mention it anyway.
