WvW Bug following update 19/05/15
We’ve identified causes of most of the issues, and are working on moving fixes towards the Live game. I’ll update again when things are a little more settled. Patch notes should also call these things out if I’m behind those.

WvW matches have resumed. We’ve successfully ended World peace for the time being. Though there’s still a chance it will come back until we can apply more complete fixes to prevent it.
Honestly… besides all the fast reaction youve to show anyway, out of interest: How the hell you guys managed to break that :p
What kind of change creates such a domino effect in the code that these things happen..
If you started to investigate can u pls fix the open field obstrucked bug in some camps?
Bottom right camp and the camp above bay are 2 places where you can “hide” in the middle of the camp.

Yo whats up anet guards are spawning in towers killing guards there are swords on every tower because of this and we can talk to other servers using map chat? And when I login I disconnect for like the past 5 hours every time I login. I can’t play the game at all because of this patch you changed some stuff in lions arch and some other stuff how did you even manage to mess up everything? Not saying you ment to but how! How does Lions arch effect ALL of the game and my game connection!

I’m revealed while stealthed all the time – for no reason, so I pop SR and just stand there immediately get the revealed debuff although my character is still glassy for me which he isn’t anymore after about 3 seconds. This is after the latest patch.
oh an can we get the map fixed at Quentin to show there is no water any more
NPC guards are still spawning as enemy NPCs. Oddly they spawn Yellow (Neutral), then as our guards attack they change to red. Not sure if that helps.
Supplies are still bugged on any keeps that haven’t been flipped since the update.
Did anyone else lose items from last night after first patch fix? Guild mate lost ascended chest and I lost keg (items and ranks from it)

12 hours later we have enemy guards still spawning in large number on friendly keeps and supply is still bugged when is this going to be fixed. Guards are spawning in such number as to eventually take down a gate on their own.
How can this happen on a patch that has nothing to do with WvW?

Dollies are so freaking bugged at the moment..the moment a camp is being flipped, no more dollies are being spawned to bring supplies to keeps/towers…
Any update on how long it’s gonna take to fix WvW again? :/

A longer-term fix has been applied to the “World peace” problem. Players should now always be on their proper teams, asura gates and waypoints in WvW maps will be working again, etc.
The fix was applied at about 9:15am PDT/12:15am EDT/4:15pm GMT (May 20th, 2015). If you see any other problems, especially things like NPC guards or dolyaks misbehaving, spawning too often or not enough, etc. please post here with the map (Red Borderlands, Eternal Battlegrounds, etc.) and objective (Garrison, Bluelake, Godslost, etc.).
Eternal Battlegrounds point total not counting already taken objectives, only newly flipped objectives are counting towards tick.

i used ebg portal in lions arch after patch and ended up on top of the hills
We’re still having issues with the maximum supply cap as mentioned by garganor.9824 above. Anything previously owned before the patch had the cap reset to the lowest value e.g. keeps can only hold 500 even if they’re tier 3 with WP. It appears anything you cap + upgrade after the patch however appears to work and does increase the cap but I’ve not properly tested it to confirm.
camps and dollies are still bugged as in, sometimes if a cap is being flipped and you cap it again, no dollies are being spawned to bring supplies to towers or keeps.
Guards/archers/scouts are still spawning on enemy towers and keeps. When will this be fixed??

Red Borderlands (Isle of Janthir Server) the Temple of Lost Prayers Ruins (South Central ruins) cannot be taken. The progress bar goes to full, but there is no event completion. Once you leave, the bar starts to decrease as normal when abandoning a ruins not fully captured.

you failed. also stealth is still broken (shadow refuge on screenshot after few secs without doing anythig) time on minimap is GMT+2
So, if we dont sit and protect our keeps and tower doors from guards and scouts, they can EASILY take down gates now.
Enemy guards/scouts/archers are spawning on all towers and keeps, on all borderlands and on ebg except for – Garrison. Garrison on all borderlands seems to NOT spawn enemy guards/scouts/archers.

Was in EB just now (GH server) and got kicked out of there to a place in Lions Arch i have never been on that caracter.
Enemy guards still spawn in friendly towers.
Anzalia (tower, red side of map, just north of Stonemist castle) was owned by desolation (me) but Enemy npc’s spawned still (this happened right after a contest, about 2 min timer left).
You can add Briar Far shiverpeeks borderland to the list (npc fighting each other).
No excuse anymore for not giving ‘hide mounts’-option
No thanks to unidentified weapons.

In EB, all towers spawn hostile gate guards. It kind of looks like it spawns one for each server, at one point in front of Veloka I saw two hostile guards fighting each other.
Blue borderlands hills spawning hostile guards. On FarShiverpeaks. they only seem to spawn hostile if they’ve been killed before.
Someone say game crash must be related to OOM

Eternal Battlegrounds, Red keep, Veloka Slope, enemy npcs keep respawning outside at the gates and also are respawning inside Veloka tower on the wall..
Mass kick in EB (AG server) Either kicked to PvE map or Caracter screen, screen just goes black, no warning, error message or nothing. At least 15 ppl, all at the same time
Enemie npc are back on EU-servers again. Gandara in particular. Problems is they do not only keep the towers contested, but they kill our npc AND our siege. It really is more of a problem then it might sound like. Also the bug with only 500 suplies in a fully upgraded keep is back. Pretty much as it looked like yesterday.
All maps (Red/Blue/Green/EB) maps in T1 NA are spawning hostile guards inside and outside of keeps and towers. It’s very frustrating to not know if it’s a legit attack, or just guards.

Problems with enemy guards spawning on every friendly keep and inaccurate supply have already been documented in addition to the worlds peace problem, you will easily see it if you go in game. Fix it.

No, I’m in Sea of Sorrows right now and Mendon’s Tower has been ours and the enemy guards keep spawning around and archer inside.
Additional issues (also added to my first post here):
- NPC guards spawning at wrong times and/or on wrong teams within objectives.
- Is this only happening when the objective flips?
- Score reduction when some maps in a match reset/rollback.
NPC workers getting stuck is an issue I’ll take note of for later, but probably isn’t related to the immediate issues with WvW cross-server data we’re investigating now. We’ll have to take care of the World (vs. World) being on fire first.

The bug still continues after the latest patch.
Yeah as of right now in Eternal “enemy” guards continue to spawn every minute (or less) on top of regular spots. This was north-east inner of SM. Sbi/HOD/Mag match.
Oh and just got disconnected at 1:06AM central

yep same at durios is lots of enemy guards even though we own tower, gate is down to 50% due to npcs hitting it..

The can take down all gates, including your keeps. Its really amazing, really.
my theory was its a reward to give scouts some loot for defending/repairing gate

We’re investigating the ongoing issue with NPC guards spawning for the wrong team. It appears to begin affecting objectives after some period of time (or some event) after a map restarts (such as after a game update). If you see any objectives that aren’t experiencing the NPC guard spawning bug, or have any other information, please feel free to share it here.
that ive seen on UW its only towers and sm, not supply camps or keeps
