In Wayfarer Foothills specifically.

It wasn’t just me seeing it. I had two friends with me, one who also saw the low quality WvW models on PCs, and another who saw us as our normal selves. We also encountered other players in the area who appeared as WvW models.

I don’t know if this is happening in other areas, I can’t get on to check at the moment. I also apologize if this has been posted about before, but the search doesn’t seem to be working and I don’t have the time to hunt for it manually.

First image was taken by my friend, the second was taken by me.

In your Options Menu > Graphics Options > Adjust the settings for WvW Character Quality. This should fix your issue.

Just did that. However, now when there are a large amount of people on my screen, they occasionally flash into WvW armour for a moment before going back to their regular armour. Also, I still get culling on mobs.

Yea this will fix your issue, and drop your FPS by about 25+ %

Really, I mean the ONLY issue that is important from this, and that you all should have been looking at, is the performance issue. “How will this effect performance” Why was this question not asked, and then the answer not tested? If it was, you would have never rolled this out. I play in pure performance mode always, specifically to achieve 60fps. Same settings, except now I have to keep models on ultra low and I STILL get 20 less fps. So I logged in today, had to adjust the settings to be even lower, and now get even less performance with that. Why was this not the ONLY important thing that was tested before you all did this? Why did you just make the game feel like beta again without testing out the effect first? Turn it back on and don’t turn it back off until you all have servers that can handle it. Seriously.

Yeah, it didn’t fix my issue in the least despite changing the settings. I couldn’t get a cap of it clearly but there were spots where players were in their real armour, WvW armour, were invisible with nameplates, and invisible entirely and popped into existence a few moments later.

As for mobs (which are what is important), I don’t know if you’re working on those but they’re definitely still being culled on a massive scale.

Also yes, catastrophic lag and low fps.

We need to see:

1. enemies and their animations (especially their red aoe rings)
then
2. other players (including helpful skills like healing spring where we can jump into when needed)
then
3. other player’s animations (if needed.. please give us the option to turn it off, we do not really need to see all the ele’s fireball animations!!)

The current priority doesn’t make that much sense at all.
