There’s more broken in this achievement line. I do have that Dawn of the Season (do you get that one by only entering a WvW map?) but I also have 6 guards killed. And I don’t do WvW…. I did do the lvl10 personal story (human, commoner), where I killed 6 guards…

This bug is present at about 50% of the story instances, yesterday i used the in-game bug report, but it doesn’t seem to be “on high priority”

Anyways that another bug, that is neglected… i’m here for the dawn of the season achievement 8(

Good to know that I’m not the only one who was puzzled by this. It’s still broken for me, I’m somewhere halfway through all the achievements though. Hope there will be fix as I think this counts towards meta?

For me it’s also still bugged: I’m still not getting the WvW Dawn of the Season achievement (which as far as I know counts towards the 15 overall achievement). And also my Mists Merc Camp Vanquisher is bugged and is still on 0 (after fully capping/vanquishin Ogre, Dredge and Hylek multiple times).

And demolition expert is for me 1 big question mark how to get those. I got 4/10, but have no idea when and how I got those. I’ve tried pretty much everything: dmg on gate from start to finish, using ram, not using ram, building ram, small group, large group, etc. But it’s still not clear to me. Anyway, at least I got 4

Same here, 5/15: no “Dawn of the Season”.

This is also still bugged for me. Dawn of the Season is incomplete.

I’m a bit concerned that the last dev post was 8 days ago saying they fixed it.

Please fix this Anet. It is still broke for me as well. I have filled out 2 reports in game already. Can we at least get a confirmation that this is being worked on?

Still bugged for me as well. I’ve got most of the league WvW achievements completed, I’m kinda missing this one.

Will it be fixed till the end of the season? I would get rather frustrated if not since I completed the rest for the chest, only need this one (okey, I lied, and a couple of Ruins).

Still no achievement and no acknowledgement that the “fix” didn’t “fix” it, and that it will be “fixed” at some point.

My Dawn of the Season is still locked, but thankfully the other ones are now free. When is this going to be fixed!

Currently at 13/15 for WvW Season 1 achievements and mine too is still showing as not achieved if this helps.

This is still not fixed. I reported it in game via support, and no response. It is also not on the known issues list.

Does Anet even read its own support forum? This is weeks old and is starting to feel like they are ignoring it completely.

Any chance the devs can add this to Reported Bugs, please? Since it is a bug and it has been reported.

It’s bugged for me too, it shows as completed, but no achievement points are given and it doesn’t count towards the “Premier Season Veteran” achievement.

Same issue for me – been getting other WvW achievements, but no Dawn of the Season, just realised.
I started the season personally the day after it officially started, not on a reset, but I hope this has nothing to do with the bug.

Yeah, I’m still missing Dawn of the Season too. I doubt I’ll get the chest, but I’d still like all the achievements I can get.

This is still broken and will prevent me completing the whole of season 1.

3 weeks since it was reported and no one from Anet can be bothered to spend 10 seconds acknowledging it. Very poor customer service.

Many because many people are really involved in WvW?

Yes but the achievement was only usefull to unlock the other season achievement but they hotfixed it so the achievements can be done without the dawn of the season one, so this achevement has no use at the moment.

Can we get word if we’ll be able to get credit for the “WvW Dawn of the Season” achiev if we just barely miss the meta 14/15 by the end of the season? I’m going to try to make it, but it’s looking like it’s going to be close for me.

The “Dawn of the Season” achievement doesn’t count for the meta.

I still don’t have Dawn of the Season. But if it doesn’t count for the meta, whatever.

Any more news on this? We’re less than 2 weeks from the end of the season.

Sure, it’s not game breaking but it seems so small and easy to fix.

The Time is 3:02 PM Tuesday, November 26, 2013 AFTER THE UPDATE that is suppose to : “Fixed a bug preventing some players from unlocking the WvW Dawn of the Season achievement.”
I entered WvW in the hopes that i could get the achievement and LO and BEHOLD nada nothing ziltch LIES all LIES …….

Dawn of the Season has never counted as one of the 15/15 needed for the meta. It was supposed to just be a gateway achievement, and currently serves zero purpose except to remind you that “This is a broken thing”.

Todays patch notes state the Dawn of the Season achievement was fixed. Still broken for me even though I join my BL and killed a few folks etc. Is there some sort of trick to get this to complete?

Mine is still broken as well. I wish I could help with providing information in some way, but at this point I don’t know what would help at all.

Got my 15/15 achievements last night, but still no go with the WvW Dawn of the Season achievement.

The last patch or maybe the one before that or just the WvW reset finally fixed this for me.
