The rewards for support and healing in WvW are out of whack. I’ve played about 20 hours now on my support/healing guardian and have gotten one badge and four loot bags.

Basically, I have to PvE to cover my repair costs, let alone upgrade my gear. And face it, it’s not hard for the other team to figure out who is healing when you whip out the big book. Focus fire means even more cash out.

I know my guardian makes a big impact on the field of play with boons, condition removal, heals and bubble rezzes. But I am seriously thinking of switching to a ranged dps class, cause what’s the point if time/effort/skill yields so little?

While I agree that it is a problem it is unfortunately not a bug

I would like to agree that there should be a bit more reward for the players choosing to play support.

As stated not a bug, but support, healing and ressing is way under-rewarded both in PvP and PvE to the point where you start to question if it’s worth helping a fallen player out during a big event or in WvW.

I can’t believe Anet intends for any class to be excluded from WvW. Sure there are other guardian builds, but none are anywhere near as effective in team play. I suppose I could retrait/regear for DPS and go escort dolyaks… oh wait!
