Is this happening to anyone else, or am I just crazy? Copy/Paste incoming;
I asked this on a few other forums, but am not getting anywhere – no one seems to really have heard of this, so I am asking GFaqs for help, am I crazy or am I on to something? (That’s not the question)
Why is it, every time I go into WvW, I lose my PoIs or Vistas? Yesterday I had only two PoIs I needed but could not get to them due to enemy forces, today when I log back in, I now need 5, and 2 of the Vistas I got yesterday, are now needed again for map completion.
This has happened before where I got Vistas and PoIs that I Know I got before. It’s driving me crazy. Yesterday I worked all day to get to the point where I only needed 2 PoIs in one map, and 3 in another plus one Vista to finish WvW completely.
Today I log in to find I need more now, with ones I got yesterday now reset.
Is this a bug or other?
this is how it’s been going down (for sake of clarification I am on Tarnished Coast Server).
Two weeks ago I went to the Tarnished Coast Borderlands, got the PoI and Vista (on the roof of the house) directly behind the gates (in the North). Came back last week, same borderlands to finish and found that the previously mentioned PoI and Vista had reset. I got them again but could not finish the map, we were being stomped.
Now, yesterday I had the whole day to play, and I ticked off my list of PoIs and Vistas and whatnot as I helped my server take over strategic areas of the map. I log in to Eternal Battlegrounds, and finish that to 100%, log in to Tarnished Coast – those same two PoI and Vista to the North? Reset again. Fine, I finish the map.
Then I move on to Crystal Desert’s Borderlands Map, I complete everything except the following;
Longview PoI (West Tower)
Cliffside PoI (East Tower)
I log in this morning, I find I NOW need;
Longview PoI
Cliffside PoI
Garrisson PoI and both Vistas
Astralholme PoI (East Supply)
Blackwicker Territory PoI and Skill Point (NE NPC Camp)
And I haven’t even looked at the other server’s map yet, Henge of Denravi where I KNOW I was almost finished as well save for 2 PoIs, the Garrison and the West Tower.
EDIT I checked out Henge, everything is as I had left it last night, so only CD’s borderlands seems to have reset on me.
Anyone else have this issue?
I thought it was a possibility that I was getting Red (Crystal Desert this week) and Blue (Henge of Denravi) confused as well, I am pretty sure I wasn’t, but everyone makes mistakes.
Last night before logging off, I was at 66% Map Completion, when I logged on this morning, I was at 65% completion. But just to be safe, I am screenshotting before I begin playing again today, and again, when I come back on tomorrow. If I don’t complete the maps, I will have a before and after to post.
Oh and, for sake of clarification, this is all on one character.
