Since yesterday’s patch, Dragonbrand, along with other servers, has experienced a bug preventing us to place any siege, which our server has dubbed a “Siege Lock”. I was offline at the time, but from information I’ve gathered it started only being locked in FABL, then a few hours later EB, FABL’s siege lock was then lifted, and then all three borderlands were locked (FABL, TCBL and DBBL). We’ve tested it out, and we can manage to place about three rams in the map at a time. I haven’t looked into numbers for other siege, but it appears to be the same. Either way, we’re basically always unable to place any siege in any of our maps. The exception to this, however, is Golems. I assume they aren’t bound by a siege cap and therefore aren’t Siege Locked with the rest. It has made for an eventful day, playing around with golem tactics, but we do all miss our other siege.

On the Gandara server we had trouble too with the siege weapons just after the patch update.

The same issue is currently affecting Piken square, on Eternal Battlegrounds we are unable to place any siege other than golems. Out of our two opponents, it appears that Baruch Bay has the same bug and cannot place siege, but Augury Rock seems unaffected. On our borderlands it seems that siege is functioning perfectly, so the problem seems limited only to eternal battlegrounds.

Furthermore, myself and a large number of others are reporting game crashes every half an hour or so while in WvW. The game just freezes and the program must be manually closed as it stops responding.

This is currently happening with Crystal Desert too. I thought it may have been all the servers, then I seen other servers in our division placing siege. So I thought it might have been the types of siege or the placement. Until we were trying to place siege at an opponent servers (Stormbluff Isle) hills keep and then we were pushed away by the 3rd server Sea of Sorrows) who then managed to place Siege in the exact same place we were trying to place. This has been going on since the update I believe.
I hear the developers know about the issue, but these servers are still going around with an unfair disadvantage. Either fix the issue or shut down WvW until the issue is fixed. Stop giving servers advantages (especially ones that already outman the other servers)….
