Doesn’t ArenaNet have people watching this stuff outside of normal working hours? Or at a minimum some way to page your operations staff to have them come in and check things out?
Pretty sure it’s All servers, Fort Aspenwood is down as well. Originally I suspected that it was because of the new Dragon Bash event that starts tomorrow, but since pvp servers are up, I’m not so sure.

I logged out a little over an hour ago right after the WvW went down. No one knew what was happening and everyone was just speculating.
The fact that the message IDs matches being updated is sorta like calling a pig’s ear a silk purse. The message displayed appears to be the only one they use for any time down for WvW that I can see…at least I’ve not seen any other used. I’ve seen a message splashed saying a new build was coming but not a different WvW down message.
it would help if they used a different message depending upon what they are doing. I suspect the really are trying to fix something and are having a problem if it is still down.
It’s only wnen you enter from a PVE map. If you enter from the PVP lobby, you can get into WVW. Also, the matchup displayed in the PVP is completely broken (shows you as the wrong color, wrong points, and versus servers you aren’t fighting). It will put you in the right color zone versus the correct enemies once you get in, though.
