On descriptions and various things I’ve seen a lot of these "E’ letters everywhere.

Like on the champion in WvW…. it says “Dazes E Applies Bleeding E High Damage PBaoe”

Even in crafting.

If you need a screen shot I don’t mind uploading it.

I’ve wondered this since launch and the only thing I could come up with is that it’s a ‘Spanglish’ translation of the word ‘y’ which is pronounced as our letter ‘E’. It means ‘and’ or ‘as well as’.

So the PBaoe is ….

? just want to “agree”

Also, I’ve never seen this before until the latest patch. Yet you’ve wondered this since launch?

PbAoE is a very old abbreviation for the term ‘point-blank area of effect’ where a particular skill affects a certain radius around the caster. As for the ‘E’ between the different abilities, it has always been there and you likely never noticed it.

No, at least not for me. It always showed up as a “ยท” for me. I remember someone reporting this here on forums some time ago. I think it started with Wintersday release or the one before it.

Maybe it has to do with the language or the system. What OS are you using?

Someone else has found a possible cause for it in https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/bugs/Large-UI-displays-E-instead-of-a-dot/first. What size of UI are you using?
