I am talking about the home borderlands. I cannot open the vault and i got both key parts.

Server is gunnar’s hold

and vault is not openable in all borderlands

I am having the same issue… I am from Crystal Desert… they are broken I guess

Same, got the keys for two borderlands and can’t open the vault.

Yep, I just ran into this, too. Went through the Borderlands puzzle, got both halves of the key, and the vault won’t open (also got ganked while submitting a report in game).

edit: server is Yak’s Bend if that matters.

After last patch I can’t open Mistwrought Vault. I have 2 parts of the key in my inventory, but nothing happens. I saw more people having the same problem.

Same for me and my friends – we tried 2 different Borderlands and eventually went to sleep:)

Same, just collected both parts on the emerald JP and vault wont open

I can confirm this as well along with my guildies that accompanied me as we did this puzzle together (btw, sorry to all the E-Terrace and Henge folks that we ganked along the way). I tried all three Borderlands but the door would not open despite having both halves of the key.

Confirmed as well as reported in-game with a screenshot showing I had both parts of the key. Had a temporary truce dance party in protest of the broken vault door.

Same here. Hopefully a fix will be implemented soon.

Who knows, maybe it’s just Anets new form of DR for this week haha

Same issue at Blacktide. But I’ve been to a couple of boarderlands and got the keys but I couldn’t enter while the people from other servers on the same boarderland could.

witch other server ? – you are paired with our server (gunnar’s hold) and Aurora Glade. I can confirm that until this morning we from gunnar’s hold could NOT open the vault on any home borderland. I tried in your borderland just after the patch and it was unlockable.

@Grezko My bad then, I was almost positive that I saw people from other servers get in.

cilox is correct, yesterday i was not able to open the vaults myself, the only reason i was able to get the chest on 1 borderlands was because an enemy elementalist was already inside and opened the door.

Same issue as OP on Ehmry Bay.

they blocked it so we cant get our legendaries fast i bet you

So are some people able to open it?

Okay, It’s passed 24 hours and still the problem remains. How could all the servers have this bug? It has to be some sort of nerf or the vault opens 48 hours instead of a day. No reply from Devs?

It hasn’t been 24 hours and occurred after the patch they released. I’m guessing it will have to be patched again to fix it.

From the patch notes:
“Numerous items have been disabled for use in World versus World to prevent exploits and imbalances. This includes the Experimental Teleportation Gun, ettin gunk, drake eggs, seed turrets, and more.”

Probably includes keys for the jumping puzzles…

I just sent in a bug report for this, too. I’m on Jade Quarry, in the Jade Quarry Borderlands.
I got both pieces and can’t open it. But it looked like someone else was able to open it…

Door is broke on all 3 borderlands that I can access, JQ, HoD, ET and will not open for anyone with both parts of the keys.

I’ve never done a Borderlands jumping puzzle before. I heard you get badges from then, so I decided to try. I obtained both keys in the Kaineng Borderlands and tried to open the vault and it would not budge. This happened to at least 3 people I know of. I went to see if the Mistwrought Vault on a different Borderland was working, and it appears it is broken as well. I destroyed my keys from the Kaineng jumping puzzle and obtained new ones from Devona’s Rest Borderlands puzzle, and the 2nd vault wouldn’t open as well.

I’m not sure if it was working pre-patch or not as this is my first one on the Borderlands.

Confirmed. I now have 3 full sets of keys, and cannot open any vaults. Yaks Bend server

It was working pre-patch, of course the developers always break working things with every patch. Anything to slow down the progress of legendaries.

is this really done to slow down the progress of legendaries? there was that sudden influx of 5 – 6 legendaries last week or so (iirc). i really hope that’s not the case. i continue to offer you the benefit of doubt Anet. so far you guys have been awesome in regards to how the game has panned out in the first month or so, so i really hope this is pure speculation..

on that note, hopefully it’ll get fixed soon. it’s not easy doing jumping puzzles in WvW (or certain puzzles alone)

hmm have been looking but haven’t found any yet.
to my surprise, there are actually fewer “logs” on here regarding this issue than i’d thought.

though, one can always argue, WvW is for, well.. WvW-ing lol. but you do get goodies that help you in battle!

am sure ANet will iron out these bugs soon.. right??

I concur, HoD borderlands jumping puzzle is also broken.

Same thing for Tarnished Coast borderlands. Not going to bother testing Crystal Desert or Dragonbrand, I’m sure it’s all the same.

ah, just to add, Sanctum of Rall here.

Tis the same on Crystal Desert. I have two full sets of keys and each door was locked. We had a 5-10 group of people at the door, of all servers (CD, Dragonbrand, TC), and no one seemed to be able to get in.

Has this issue been fixed yet? Can we get a reply from Arenanet pls

Same issue here as well on Jade Quarry yesterday and today. I tried different boarderlands also. The home one, and one of the opposition ones. Both would not open. Hope we have a fix soon, or at least an acknowledgement.
