Guild Wars 2

While encumbered, I’ve noticed some actions delete items from your inventory.
I’ve notice two so far:
-Changing my armour caused the item I uneqquiped to vanish
-When unlocking a black lion chest with a key, the unlocked chest never went into my inventory, but my key and chest were consumed.

This happened to me as well. Encumbered was up with an item waiting, and in trying to make room I clicked the key to the chest and both consumed without providing content of chest.

Just happened to me too…
Lost an exotic piece of equipment and an unlocked Black Lion Chest. I know my stuff can’t be retrieved, but this does sting quite a bit.
