Guild Wars 2

conditions:

-got aetherblade fractal as 3rd fractal
-progressed as normal until the hot plate deactivation puzzle
-level 49

our mesmer skipped ahead of the 1st hot plate bridge without deactivating it and went to do the 2nd rotating zap thingies room solo. he apparently activated some or all of the switches to turn the room off, but failed at turning it off. we then completed the hot plate bridge puzzle. after that, we could not activate some of the switches for the 2nd room. we tried wiping to see if it would reset the puzzle, no success.

this bug is extremely annoying.

as a warning to all potential skippers:
DO NOT SKIP THE HOT PLATE BRIDGE. if you fail to deactivate the zap thingy room, you will be unable to retry.

we were able to get past the room by bannering ellen while she got her face smashed by the zap thingies. we had to have all of the party at the end of the room to get her to run towards us.

this is barely not blocking progress, unless you dont have a rez skill in the party. this can be used to grief.
