Guild Wars 2

I just finished Kessex Hills to 100% and I didn’t get a reward though it shows the solid gold around the map icon.

You may have previously completed that map, and received a reward. New Waypoints, PoIs, Renown Hearts are occasionally added to old maps necessitating completion, again, but no further rewards are forthcoming.
