so i have this armor piece in my inventory paws of koda, it shouldnt and doesnt equip onto my ranger because it is a heavy piece but i noticed a bit in the text down bottom that seems off.

It says required profession: ranger, ranger

For a start it implies we are getting class specific armor which would be cool but ive heard nothing about so have to assume not but aside from that its also wrong because obviously no rangers can not wear it.

Indeed, I’ve never seen that profession-specific text on armor – it has always just said the ‘Armor class unusable by your profession’ line.

I agree, that does seem to indicate some upcoming change, likely with HoT release, which has to do with profession-specific armor due to it listing professions on the item.

Very strange that it is also listing the incorrect professions as you have noted.
