Ascended Staff recipe is not working as well. Any ideas?
I’ve already made an ascended hammer, is there some type of countdown on how often you can make one?

Just purchased the Staff recipe, attempting to make my first ascended weapon, and it is giving me the “This content has been temporarily disabled. Please try again later.” message.
A bit of info on what is happening here would be good Anet.

The sword is not working for me either. I already crafted my Hammer, and would like to craft my sword tonight.
Tried making a scepter but couldn’t for the same reasons listed above.
Mace is disabled. Seriously?

Same problem here i crafted the great sword last week now trying to craft a hammer and get the same message.
Regarding the Ascended Staff recipe, I also just received the error message “That content has been temporarily disabled. Please try again later.” The item was purchased on one character then redemption attempted on another. My Artificer is 407, however I do not see any level requirements on the recipe nor online. Hoping that “temporarily” is just that, as I just condensed all my logs into planks >.<

I don’t think it has to do with level or character purchased with. I bought the recipe with my 500 artificer and am still getting the error message.
Definitely a bug. Or someone exploiting again lol. Just wait it out guys, it’ll get fixed soon.

I just bought the greatsword recipe and the ascended inscription recipe on a character with 500 weaponsmith and I’m getting the same message when using both items.

It seems that ALL Ascended recipes no longer work. I just bought the inscription and weapon recipes, and neither work. There goes my gold, laurels, and karma…
I don’t understand why we can’t just discover the things. That’s how you learn exotic recipes. Oh, right, it’s one more resource sink.

Mine isn’t working either. I’m sure they had to stop some sort of exploit but it would have been good/standard customer support to let everyone know why and when we can expect it to be available. I’m extremely disappointed because I spend about $30 buying gems to get enough money to lvl and make my ascended and now i’m locked out for an unspecified reason. If I had waited this would have cost me a lot less than 300g..
Looks like new patch. Hope it gets fixed in this one.

Why are ascended weapon recipes disabled after you buy them? How long is “later” before we should “try again”.
Extremely frustrating. Please acknowledge that this is a bug. It’s been 4 hours since OP.

Hey everyone, try it again. Immediately after the update, the recipes didn’t work. I just logged on a minute ago, and now it works. So if it doesn’t immediately work for you, take a break, and try it again later.
