Guild Wars 2

I was guesting on Desolation to do Tequatl event (since my server is not even attemting it anymore), and I was moved to Overflow. As queue finishes and I hit the transfer button I always get an error message, and I’m unable to go out of overflow.

The error means just that the free place was already taken by somebody else. The message is of course just a little cryptic.

When you are guesting, you cannot use the Transfer Button to go into the main, since players Native to that server have priority for the main. Server Guests are low priority. The best way to get onto a guested main is to follow these steps. 1) Party with someone who is ON the main server you are trying to go there. 2) Waypoint onto a waypoint on an adjacent map near a zone point. 3) Walk through the zone point to join your party on the main.

TL;DR – cant “Transfer” to main maps when you are guesting.

Any official source for that ? After all i heared it doesn’t matter from what server you are.

Also i get the same error constantly when i’m in an overflow on my home server.

that’s odd, because i was with a desolation “native” and he wasn’t getting the Travel popup at all, while I got it multiple times. seems more like a bug to me.
