Guild Wars 2

I dunno whether this is a bug or something but, as the title says, I can’t seem to get the finisher on scarlet.

Her shield spawns up way too fast every time I try to kill her.

I manage to kill her twice before with out a problem but it seems since this new bug patch has come out its somehow changed.

anyone else having a problem?

Hmm, before when sheild were going up, you just had to give it a few tries, maybe even smack her around, then you’d have a chance. I’ll give it a shot here when i get on soon

Eventually one of the NPC’s, I think it is Kasmeer, should say “I will distract her!” or something, and the shield will drop, takes a while. Alternately, you can use any sort of Immune+Stomp on her, Mist Form works brilliantly for it if you have an Ele.

unless you’re going for the “no place to hide” (I think) achievement, you can just wait until kasmeer starts distracting her with clones. at that point, ATTACK SCARLET normally. Even just one hit on her (her shield drops when she kills a clone) will stop her shield from reappearing and you can stomp her freely.

I love that you mention the “Mist Form” trick, as players do such in WvW and the like…

Now, due to the “omg exploit in the living story” maybe it will get addressed…

They’d also have to “address” Distortion, Elixir S, Stability, Blind, Aegis, Invis, and Shadowstep stomping.

I figured out that you do have to attack her so she becomes dazed long enough for you to use your finisher.

Stability doesn’t work, for some reason the explosions rip it off. You need to use quickness, invulnerability or teleport methods to finish her before the shield is up.
