I purchased the recipe: Sentinel’s Mithril Imbued Inscription from the trading post. I DO have 400 weaponsmithing, however when I right click on the item in my inventory the only options it gives is too… mail item to, sell on trading post, buy more on trading post, or destroy. Double click does not work. I even purchased the upgrade to Heart of Thorns from my old GW2 Collectors account just to see if it was an HoT locked ONLY item. Well.. the problem still exists. This item is simply un learnable.

Anyone else experiencing this glitch/bug? What can I do?

Can you post a screenshot of the recipe and what it says when you mouse-over it?

There is no such item listed in the Wiki, as you probably know, having asked about it there.

Edit: I don’t find it on the Trading Post, either. Just the Inscription, itself. Perhaps, that is what you purchased (for approximately 4 Gold – the recipe would likely be much, much more than 4 Gold).

Since Sentinel items are from the Molten Facility, they are pretty rare and expensive.

You can buy that on the TP, but not the recipe.

If what you bought looks like a piece of wood, you bought the inscription. The recipe would likely be diamond-shaped and orange/yellow.

There is no recipe for Sentinels Mithril Imbued Inscription. You just bought the inscription which originally dropped in the Molten facility.

The exotic versions of Sentinels inscriptions/insignias can only be bought for Guild Commendations (10/1)

this may sound dumb but.. have you checked if the recipe’s already unlocked?

Inscriptions are not recipes – they’re components of the recipe. Inscriptions do not teach anything.

yup, turns out I wasnt paying close attention to the item name. It was just an inscription I bought as stated above. I was trying to buy the recipe but didn’t know there was no such thing. Nothing was actually wrong after all, just really sleepy late at night and not paying as close attention as I thought I was.
