Only my pet crit hit the newly critable bosses (golem, dragons etc…)

You can´t crit every part of the bosses. The hitbox you can crit is quite small and hard/nearly impossible to hit with certain skills. AoEs work fine but skills that need a target, like most ranger skills do won´t work. Try doing one with staff ele and you will see.

Which makes their mini-patch notes a bit misleading.

They said the bosses are now able to be critically hit. They didn’t specify that you had to be melee or have aoe luck. They also didn’t say that it would be via hitting a hidden hitbox.

If this is what they intended then they might as well have said nothing.

They doubled the bosses health but didn’t make the critical hit change that I imagine most players expected which would have been to make all hit boxes a critical hit target.

Yeah, this is a bug. The patch notes say that the bosses are critable, not that they are critable by some attacks performed at small, hidden spots that are not tied to the said boss animation.

You have the point. The patch notes not are incorrect or this is a bug
