chak killer not triggering
i killed every chak in the room in the HOT mission roots of terror and still didnt get the acheivment. also the room is still making chak noises but its empty
There’s a small hole in the crystal wall in the back. 1-2 chak can get stuck, which is (a) why you still hear the noise and (b) why the game thinks there are more (even if you can’t see them).
Each time I’ve helped someone, we used AoE skills near the walls until we aggro’d it and then hoped it slipped through to fight properly. Sometimes, the leftover chak do, sometimes not so the speed of the fight depends on your AOE and luck.
tl;dr use aoe skills near the crystal wall in the back.

P.S. If you go down during this mission you can no longer get credit for the achievements even though they show on your buff bar.

It’s not “my” mission and it’s an all-too-common bug in a lot of games. We can work around it without too much trouble, so it’s just annoying; I can’t imagine prioritizing this particular bug over others.
