choir bell bugged?
i just think this is another arenanet fail. i decided to join bell choir. first try…. points were at 600….finished.second try….points were at 570…..finished. third try…. points were at 600….. also finished.i thought to w8 to start a new one…..kicked from that one on map. forth try…points were again 600, so that event was also finished. last try …….points at 578 event had finished. i think i`ll grow beards before i could play a bell choir.
I think you just had bad luck, where you kept getting into some instances that started about the same time. If fail to get in twice in a row, I do something else for 2-5 minutes and try again; so far, that’s always worked to get me in a new or recently started one. Admittedly, if I were farming gifts, that would be a frustrating delay. But then again, I don’t think they originally set up the activity to be easily farmed.
Maybe they should have and maybe they should just not let anyone join after 5th round has started. Unfortunately, that’s not a simple enough change that they’ll be able to deliver it in time for this year’s festival. Hopefully they’ll make it happen for 2016.
