Guild Wars 2

just started playing GW2 not very far in the game im only level 2 and it keeps lagging such as spells take a while to cast or when i attack something and it hits them there health won’t go down for maybe 2-3 seconds later. i’ve set the graphics to “best appearance” and im running a gaming desktop i built myself. i7 6700k 4.0ghz, 16gb ddr4 ram, gtx 970. im able to run games with higher graphics with ease even ones with similar graphics imo like WoW. Wondering if this is normal or not and how do i fix this?

also i was wondering if there is a way to fix it so that my character and camera don’t move at the same time such as i can move my character but my camera stays in place. it’s just making me dizzy

It forces the client to run through port 80 instead of 6112 to avoid bottlenecks and possible throttling

not sure what it is but when i googled some fixes people kept bringing it up. sadly it works for a few minutes and then lags again pretty badly. im going to try out another class and see if i have the same issues
