Guild Wars 2

My brother started our guild when the pre launch started and just assuming as the guild master he would have all privlages to do whatever he wanted. So he made a few ppl leaders. Well now after making new rankings and setting all the privlages the way he wants we noticed he cant demote a leader to any other rank. is this a bug or something? basically it seems that once a leader you know can do w/e you want and never face getting kicked or dropped since only ppl with a higher rank can demote you from what we have seen.
Are we missing something or is this as intended?

I also think there should be only one leader and one simply should not be able to make a second leader, third etc…

It is quite easy to mistakenly promote someone to leader. There needs to be a way to demote said person. I have made this mistake recently and in quite a pickle until I can contact the guild member and pray they don’t go mad with power.

This is a big problem for me as well… We were messing around with the ranks and didn’t know it was unchangeable…. Now I have one guildie spending influence and I can’t stop him from doing it…

It be nice if the ‘guild founder’ would have the rights to demote leaders. As it’s likely that (s)he is the ‘ultimate’ leader of the guild. And there can only be on ‘guild founder’ anyways… if the guild founder would leave the next person in the invitation list would then be the one promoted to ‘guild founder’, etc and so on…

Agreed. I mistakenly made a person I thought I could trust a leader, and he took all of our money from the guild stash without saying a word, which was over 1 gold.

nope it has a privlage that states you can only kick or demote ppl under your rank so if your both marked as ldr then you cant touch each other.
only way ive found still is to ask the other ppl to please demote them self but obviously that will not work for everyone.
