hi, since the 20th patch, despite the fact i’ve ticked of the option to display player names (and npc) i still can see them.
i tried to change the option and change it back, but it didn’t work.

Functionality

• Options – Nameplates: Not Being Hidden [ Dev Response ]
  Nameplates beyond a very short range remain visible despite all nameplates being hidden via options

it has to do with your character model limit setting under graphics. if you can set that high enough then the names are farther away. still there, just farther away. basically any entity that is being culled by the graphics system is now represented by a nameplate. the check box for turn nameplates on/off does next to nothing now.
