I bought (with laurels) two ascended rings, but am only able to equip 1 at a time. I see nothing about this in the documentation as a restriction. Is there a fix? May I trade one back if I cannot use it?

I’ve seen this happen to people before. If you buy two of the same ring you cannot equip them to the same character. The “documentation” is suppose to be the fact that they say “unique” on them (at least that’s what I had read in the past from people having this issue.)

As far as I know there is no fix, and you cannot trade one back unfortunately.

Supposedly there’s a chance of getting a trade-in if you put in a support ticket and say pretty please. And IINM if you infuse one of them you can equip them both (one infused, one not).

Infused one, still can only equip one at a time.

If you infuse one of them in the MF you can equip both of them. If you simply put an infusion in the defensive/offensive slot then you can’t.

The problem here is that there are 2-3 rings for each stat set. Each ring has either a defensive or offensive infusion slot. So you can equip 1 ring with a defensive slot and 1 ring with an offensive slot and both will have the same stats (for example Zerkers). Now, if you buy 2 zerker rings with the offensive slot you can only equip one of them.

For the future keep in mind that all items that say: Unique, can only be equipped once on your character. So instead of buying 2 rings of red death, buy 1 and a Crystalline Band (zerker rings).

Maybe if you file a support ticket the customer service can help you with one of your useless rings..

Would be helpful if upon buying there was a little pop-up saying “Unique” means only one of the same item can be equipped at all times.

I had same dilemma few days back, luckly LA map chat is not 100% trolls. Otherwise i’d be in same situation as Stonewall is now.
