Guild Wars 2

ok so for a while now ive had trouble with my friends list, half of my friends are shown as only 3 dots and when i try to do anything like whispering friends, or anything to do with my guild i get error 42, unable to contact server or something like that. anyone else having this problem?

I have the same problem. Removing and re-adding those friends doesn’t help either, but whispering/mailing works if I type in the full name.
