it has been five minutes since i last sent a message in map chat, before that it was eight minutes, before that eighteen minutes…how does three messages in over half an hour constitute excessive, this isnt the first time this has happened. what can i do to prevent this

once you hit hit excessive messaging theres no other way to remove the restrictions, I believe your only option is to rezone to a different map and then return

yeah, the excessive is also scaled on the amount of people in the map. (try mapchat in an instance where you are alone )
