Guild Wars 2

Been noticing this the last day or so, every time i leave a group my game crashes. Have a friend who has the same problem.

I have the same issue, I tried a “-repair” but It did nothing. However its not always, I have seen it more often in Sparkfly fen, SW and Queensdale. Any ideas on this?

We wont know what’s up until one of you posts the crash log – it’s in your gw2 folder.

There are about 10 threads on this. It was supposed to have been fixed with the last tweak, but it’s still happening.

Happening to me constantly. Sending all crashes to them.. asking them on Twitter about it.. no responses.. wondering if they care.

this always happens to me if i am in a fractalgroup and leave while in fractals, leave outside of fractals, gets kicked out from fractals, etc…
Basically, every fractalrun ends in a crash to desktop

same here, every time i leave a party gw client crashes

same here…
evrytime I leave a party or join it i get a crash
this is frustration personified

Well, add me to the list. Uninstalling/Reinstalling client right now. Let’s hope that fixes it.

UPDATE: fresh installation of the client seems to have fixed the issue. I’ve joined/left several parties and no CTDs. I know it’s a hassle, but you guys may want to try this.

I have the same issue. It even happens when people leave my party, not just when I leave a party. Happens after leaving home instances, dungeons, taxi’ing… most frustrating bug I’ve ever encountered.

Same problem for me! I found that to avoid the crash before leaving the group put “invisible mode”. This fixes it temporarily………. sorry for my bad english!

This crash to desktop as I leave a dungeon group started for me yesterday.

After playing around with in-game settings that didn’t fix it, I thought I needed some driver updates, so I did that, but it is still crashing to desktop every time I complete and leave a dungeon group.

The GW2 sound file that was playing at the time of the crash continues to play despite the crash.

I saw someone suggest using “Simple Party UI” fixed it for them. I can confirm that this is working for me also.

it worked for about 20 join/leaves (puging)
now its back in “simple UI” too…….

i hope for my own sanity that at least someone is working on that matter

Same here, when someone leave party, it crash. Can someone merge all the related threads together?

^ Yes, that would be ideal. This is extremely frustrating. I was trying to help taxi people into a Silverwastes map and as soon as I clicked to leave the party it crashed.
Now each time I do it the game will crash, even if the party leader leaves the group to leave me by myself.

“Simple Party UI” has not fixed it for me either.

i lose 1.5 hours. because of this kitten.
someone joined from lfg and left = i crash!
gg my 1.5 hours (i was in solo arah)
