im seeing wierd Es instead of points in enemy discriptions

Its like a big E with a line on top of it, how can i fix this?

can you take a screen shot?

if your unsure how just press print screen on your keyboard while ingame

and the screen shot will be in the folder documents/guildwars2/screens

and to upload just click more posting options

Some players have reported that this issue is caused by the UI scale being set to large. I would try changing this UI option if this is indeed the case, and see if it helps.

I do believe that this is a known issue, but not too much documentation about it has found its way to the forums.

Is THAT what it is? I’ve had weird characters invading my text since day one, and figured it was a “reinstall the game to fix” sort of issue. I am not about to make my UI smaller though. It is hard enough for me to read as it is now.

Here’s a screen shot example. Note the accented E in the description of the Skritt’s abilities (seeming to take the place of “and”), and the funny A’s within the letter from Rytlock (that seem to be visible beginning of message and end of message placeholders between the recipient and sender’s names. The character name is “Clawfford” obviously, not “ClawffordA”).
