So I have had a full stack of 250 iron ore in my bank for a while now. It has been sitting there waiting until I was ready to use it.
Anyway, today I went into my bank to grab a few things to craft with when I notice that when I hover over the iron ore stack all the text (except the bottom stuff that says which types of crafting use it) is in some sort of Asian characters (I believe its Korean).
At first I was scared someone may have gotten hold of my account; however, I have seen no sign of a hack or anything. Also, the iron ore stack is the only thing that shows the foreign characters.
I am a bit confused at what is wrong and can’t help but wonder. Oh, and I absolutely do not and will not buy from gold farmers or the like.
It happened also to me with silver ore, gold ore, mithril ore and orichalcum ore. I have a pic of it. As you can see the name “Orichalcum ore” doesn’t even show up.
Well at least this means my account hasn’t been tampered with, though I figured it hadn’t.
I wonder why it does this because my iron ore wasn’t always like that and used to be normal and in English? Maybe some sort of discrepancy between American and Korean servers?
The servers are only located in Europe and in America, and actually there are only 4 languages for GW2, maybe they are trying to add Korean: just think to NCsoft.
