Playing a thief on Tarnished Coast server. For about 1-2 weeks, I have been getting serious lag and frequent disconnects when using skills, seems particularly frequent when using “Unload.” Extreme lag where combatants just stand around and then suddenly one of us is dead. DCs that break events. I’ve played an hour tonight and been disconnected twice, had serious lag at least four times. The game runs fine, my Internet connection is fine, I did not have these issues until approximately 1-2 weeks ago.

Tarnished Coast as well. But don’t think that is the reason.

I have lag that KILLS.

My friend was standing with me in the jump puzzle in Eternal Battlegrounds. We were at the end. I suddenly went from full health to dead. He saw it. He couldn’t rez me because my body was at the end (on top), but my icon was 1 level below. He had to rez the icon to make my body revive (which revived on top).

A huge WTF happened!?!?! moment for us, and all those standing with us as well.

Thought it was a 1 time thing. Well, I died again like that 3 times today. The game thinks I missed a jump and fell to my death so instantly kills me minutes later (after I been long done with the jump). People see me moving in my PROPER location, and even portal me if I fall at a smaller part later on. But then BOOM dead minutes later. Everyone is “wtf?”

Or mobs are killing me that I left LONG AGO. Odd that my chat is not lagging, my party can see me in our location, but I have a magical body somewhere else being attacked. My skills then freeze up and I get to pay a fee for repair.

I’m such a minority with this problem, I can’t find anyone that has had it.
