been trying to kill mathias for a few hours since the new patch. reflects will fail literally half the time, projectiles will get reflected, you can see the 0s but they wont take stacks off and its making the fight extremely frustrating.

Our group had the same problem just now, we even tried adding a second mesmer, but for some reason about half the time the stacks were not removed and the shield did not break.

We didn’t have problems with this mechanic before, but we could not find out what was causing this today.

We had the same issue just now. I believe it’s the necro minions, which are now absorbing his projectiles. Our necro switched to blood magic without any minions and the reflect issues stopped happening.

This is happening to my group right now as well. Feedback takes down a few stacks, than stops for like 3 seconds and continues again. Something is blocking it. Gonna tell necros now to switch blood magic.

Minions, even ranger spirits seemed to be blocking the attack now, we just outright removed the necros for a kill.
