Guild Wars 2

I started to play mesmer again. One thing I noticed is that my skill nr2 and skill nr 3 are not working. I can click on it how I can but not even that flashy animation on skill is there.
I tried even on my second accoutn and its the same on both my accounts.
I tried to use hotkey, i tried to manually click on the skill.
I tried in PvE,sPvP and WvW.
Nothing works.

You need a target for each of those skills. Are you sure you had one?

Sometimes 2 will bug from lag and you will use it right away… Otherwise it’s not bugged. And 3 is fine.

This applies to all downed skills on all classes:

If you are doing an action, especially if you have another ‘queued up’, at the same time you are downed, the downed skill will ‘activate’ and go on cooldown. This is notoriously seen if playing a thief due to all the skills being spammable (good way to give some punishment for heartseeker spamming), but seen on other classes too.

As for op’s post, you need to target an enemy for them to activate. However, you should also be getting a message on screen that says, "You must have an enemy targeted”, although can be missed when doing a lot or frustrated.
