when i zoom in minimap in game (because default zoom is too far out for me to see poi,vistas etc..)

it will keep zoomout again after a while.

I mostly noticed it doing this when i reach a new location on the map, like zoom in minimap how far is needed for viewing pleasure then i go in water and back on land and when i go to higher terrain it zooms back out.. =/ but it also happens at random during other times.. how do i fix it?

PS: to clarify, the zoom out level is so far that the map is sketched and i dont recognize anything.

this bug makes the game unplayable for me! is there a fix for this or am i the only one experiencing this? it’s obscure bugs like this that need more attention! somebody reply and provide help

Did this just start happening or has it been an issue? My only guess is that you’re accidentally using your scroll wheel while over the map, which changes the zoom.

it started after the patch and no it is not caused by me accidently hovering over my minimap and scrolling, because i know how the zom function works i just use my mousewheel to scroll out my character and sometimes that also affects the zoom of the minimap =S

i seriously cannot grasp what is happening.. because i always keep my mouse out of the minimap box on the main screen after i have fixed the zoom level of my minimap to my comfort.
As stated it also happens randomly even if i dont zoom at all on the minimap or my character. It happened a few times today as well. I just want to know if this can be fixed and why it’s cuasing these issues.

I also have this problem. It started after that patch – it was one that moved the minimap up by half a centimetre. I always play with the minimap zoomed in all the way. Now I have to constantly re-zoom back in, since it keeps resetting. :/

Please fix this.
