~Surrender fiend and you will get an easy death

Maybe I’ve just been completely oblivious to it, but for some reason I’m seeing a whole lot more shatterers making landfall in blazeridge now. And I’m not talking about the boss event, I mean just out and about in the zone, they will randomly land somewhere, maybe throw some crystals about or purple flame, and fly off. Was I really not paying attention that badly (or that drunk) the whole first year of this game or something?
(Also I’m not talking about the ones that have always flown around overhead. These guys actually make landfall- and not around the lowland burns area either)

here we go, got one to land on me lol
Certainly seems to be new. A foreshadowing of things to come?
your pictures honestly seem like they are all the same spot, the dragon does fly around the zone, im just pretty sure he only lands in the one spot, maybe if you had better pictures displaying him landed in different locations than maybe.
All 4 pictures appear to be him in flight and not firmly planted on the ground.
when he landed in that spot his front legs are actually on a riased rock, but apparently they didn’t animate him enough for his back ones to touch. he is in fact on the ground. I’m working on getting pics of them in different spots, be patient :P And yes those were all the same location, was just showing him in the landing sequence. Or here’s an even better idea: go out and look for yourselves. It’s not hard to spot them landing you can see them from quite a distance off.
@OP
I am pretty sure there isn’t multiple Shatterers roaming around as that wouldn’t make sense since the gw2 universe is stuck in a time loop that repeats itself every 2 hours on average for world events.
To believe that we would also have to believe there is a new “Tequatl” every two hours and since we know that dragon by name we can safely say that he is in fact the same dragon that we fight over and over.
Although, I would like to see multiple Shatterers, maybe change his head up and rotate him out with a few others daily. Change some mechanics between them.

Actually if you pay attention to the NPC dialogues they explain that there are, in fact, multiple shatterers, just like there are multiple claws of Jormag. The difference is, the boss ones we fight are the current champion status one, when we kill those, anotehr raises in ranks to replace it. As for Tequatl, he doesn’t explode like shatterer, just falls back in the water so I don’t think we ever really kill him and there very well might be only one of him (also why you don’t see lots of him flying around over the zone like the Claws and Shatterers). Anyway, since they just moved it to bug forums, it seems this was not intended, sadly. I found it quite epic.
