Guild Wars 2

I seem to have lost the ability to use the mouse to click on mobs and NPCs. I can tab, I can go really close and use the f key but can’t click on them with just the mouse. And as the subject says when I mouse over they do not highlight the mob or NPC I need to be facing them with the camera to see them highlighted.

It might be a resolution problem that it might be different where your mouse appears on screen and where it really is detected by game.

if that where the case I should not be able to click anywhere on screen pop ups, they still work.

I also just began to have this problem today. It was fine last night. I still see my mouse cursor, but I cannot highlight over a player and see their health bar (sucks for world events when I’m trying to throw out healing), nor can I click on an npc for the bank, shopkeepers, etc.

I DO see the cursor, I just don’t get any “mouseover” or “hover” options. I can still hit “F” to interact. Still no healthbars though.

Edit: I can mouseover things fine when I’m in my INV or in a menu, or crafting. It’s just out in the world, hovering over a player or npc, or an object out in the world (quest items, gathering nodes).

Just want to chime in and say I am having this issue as well. I can’t click on anything but tab targetting still works. It worked last night, but logging in after work today it’s broken.

I am also having problems with not being able to select/interact with npcs using my mouse. I can click F to interact with them, and I can click just fine within the windows, however. Serynda’s description of the issue fits my problem exactly.

I was fine playing yesterday, also.

Edit: So I literally tabbed out, came to this forum and posted my issue, and then tabbed back into GW2 and I was able to hover over an NPC and it changed my mouse to a talk button. Weird! We will see how long it lasts for me…

This happened to me a couple of days ago. But it seemed to have fixed itself after I logged out and restarted my computer. So it might just be some weird quirk.

This issue still exist and its real annoying specially when it happens after you enter to WvW and you have to restart game to get rid of it.
