commander rank wont work for some reason i tried everything but it wont just work

need help please

What exactly isn’t working? The screen shot indicates that you turned on the commander function, as shown by the words “You are a commander” and the button to disband your squad. The main functions provided are a squad chat channel, extra icons for your personal waypoints, and /supplyinfo and /squadinfo chat commands, and the blue icon that marks you on the map which can be seen by other allied players.

Happens all the time if you log off with your commander tag up.

Usually fixed by disbanding your squad and then creating a new squad.

It is also occasionally fixed by loading into a new zone.

Pretty common bug.

It’s been in the game for a while.

RagingDragon’s right. The above steps tend to fix it, as well as disbanding, exiting GW2 and then logging back in on the commander.
