I’ve shut down this account.
I’m very upset about:
The very very offensive and much louder warhorn sound on warrior, sounds like raspy FART. WHICH I NEED DO AUTOMATICALLY EVERY 12 SECONDS. what are you thinking? or are you thinking at all?
I HAD to turn down the sound all the way, so it effects my gameplay.

and not happy to find out from reading the 25 page user agreement that
they leave it open for any future MONTHLY fee requirement.
One sided, unilateral, no choice. Right in line with the disgusting behavior that allows the WARHORN very loud farting noise.

ALL THINGS CONSIDERED: I choose to quit playing.

PS: so, naturally, I won’t be buying the new expansion.

Oh say, that’s been in there since before Guild Wars launched, back in 2005. I guess I’d call it “standard verbiage” and I know that I’ve asked about it, and it’s a corporate thing, but should not be seen as any sort of mechanism to start monthly fees. The entire company is behind the “There is no monthly fee” concept for GW and GW2, and that is not going to change.

Doesn’t change my perspective much though.
and just because they’ve always done it doesn’t mean it’s right.

Besides, the WARHORN FART NOISE is more than enough reason for me to stop playing, and NOT upgrade the account.
