-nopatchui makes trading post inaccessible
Same problem, solutions?
As far as I know that is working as intended. If you don’t patch the game you can’t access the latest version of the trading post so to avoid problems if you use that argument in your game shortcut the trading post is disabled.
Solution… don’t use -nopatchui if you want to be able to use the trading post.
The only solution at this time, is not to use the -nopatchui command line argument, if you wish to use the Trading Post.
This anomaly has been known for some time.
The problem is there is no way to automate login (with -email -password) without -nopatchui…
As far said in wiki (http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Command_line_arguments), -nopatchui just hide the update process, not prevent it.
I’d like to automate login in my account and have full access to TP !
Take a look again after the patch tomorrow. The entire interface for the trading post is being changed. If you still can’t access to the TP using that command-line argument, I recommend you create a suggestion in the BLTC Forum, as I doubt ANet regards this as a bug — use of the nopatchui argument is an undocumented & unsupported element of the game; it’s not guaranteed to work.

#Sawnic: thx for remarking this but i’d like to automate the login of each one of my three accounts by clicking on its shortcuts.
#All: tested today the parameters: -email -password -nopatchui -autologin and got succeed in buying, selling and collecting things on TP =))
Thanks for the update, Shine. Glad that’s working now (and I might try it myself going forward).
I’ve tried it myself and works like a charm — my new default logon method, since my client no longer completes the logon process for me.
