Before PoF goes live i want to build myself a new Legendary, HOPE, which i am almost done with, But one massive problem ist, that there is no way to complete The Collection right now. I only need one more item, the Branded Devourer Ichor, there are 2 events you can get these items, the meta event chain in Iron marches, which is bugged since over 2 weeks and stuck at the same place (which i submitted atleast 3 Bug Reports for) and one event in Field of Ruins, which is also bugged since 2 Weeks, the event seems to be there meaning there is a notification at the top right, but there is no Enemy, trust me i’ve searched for Hours. To simplify there is no possible way to obtain this item right now in game, there just isnt. So i contacted the kittening support last Wednesday (which is exactly a week ago at the point of writing this) But the support didnt even bother to answer yet. why should they anyway, not like i got a problem or anything. And i Strongly belive that in a span of one week there should be an answer, espacially when the bug, or Bugs in this case, keep you from completing a collection that is REQUIRED to craft your legendary. As you clearly made out already i’m kittened the kitten off. And since the support wont answer me i thought i can write my story here, of course i know nothing will come out of it but i still want to share my story.

Wow, is that event stuck again? I recall that same event was also bugged back when I was making HOPE. ANet did release a patch to fix the issue so I hope they will do the same for you and fix it soon.

Crafting that legendary also brought other (not so) fond memories, like sitting in Frostgorge at 5am waiting for a Quaggan event and hoping nobody came along to kill the Svanir. Trying to be alone in an MMO in order to get an event to fail just makes no sense at all. Same thing with Nevermore and the Owl Abbatoir event.

Glad that people crafting the newer legendary precursors won’t have to deal with those horrible ‘journeys’ anymore and can just buy the recipes directly from Hobbs.
