it’s as simple as the title. i’m unable to receive any mail in-game. people have sent me food items and a pearl dagger, all of which went M.I.A.

Is your mailbox full? Even if it just says 6/10, try deleting some. Heart/map completion/story -mail does not count.
I had mine full for quite a while and when I finally deleted some mail I found a ton of potions, items, dyes and gold people have sent. :p
