Seems that these drivers cause you to see through the world at the hilly bits. the beta drivers I had installed befor didn’t have this problem.

I had this exact same problem with those drivers, quite often a mountain terrain texture would go like 50% tranparent so I’d see it and what was behind it depending on my camera angle. It wasn’t always obvious but it happened enough and was discombobulating enough that I downgraded back to the previous 304 beta drivers.

The problem is caused by Ambient Occlusion. Disable it in Nvidia control panel.
