Just tested it on a couple of passifloras, everything normal.
Soule: were you in combat? On some occasions, you’ll get ruined mats, regardless of the tool used.
John Smith: “you should kill monsters, because killing monsters is awesome.”
You will get ruined mats, if you get hit while harvesting.
