Hello. We had a match in ranked arena where none of my team was able to see the Mesmer of the opposite team for the whole duration of the match. The middle point appeared empty and as soon as we were trying to cap , clones appeared from nowhere and attacking us but none ever actually saw the Mesmer. I play Mesmer myself, that wasn’t PU in case someone thinks of that, that was permanent invisibility and ability to hold the point while in that stealth. The point didn’t even start decap . Is this a bug?

It’s a known bug. Same thing happened to me a couple days back. Enemy team was unable to see my entire party of four for the whole game.

It’s dumb, but I have no idea what the cause is. Screenshot and submit a ticket, maybe, but they certainly already know it’s a problem.

I have not seen it in ages, but yes, it is known, they also claimed to have fixed it. So I don’t know…

Well, since they “claimed” to fix it, I haven’t encountered this bug anymore.

Two options here:

• Still a bug, but much rarer → go to the official bug forum, and report it there.
• Not a bug, you were just confused and missed the mesmer.

Yes, the games has bugs, but most of the time, people are just missing something…

I agree with you that is the case most of the time.
But Wolfineer posted the below video AFTER the fix and confirmed it was after the fix, I also have encountered and reported in game since then. So its still a bug, just rarer than it used to be.

No, we weren’t confused and we didn’t miss the Mesmer, I play Mesmer as a main and I know this wasn’t normal. Plus as I said the point wasn’t decapping , normal stealth doesn’t work like this. There was another similar post yesterday but is got deleted because it was mentioning the name of the perma invi player(different than the one I saw)

The bug is back actually. It was fixed and now it’s back. I made a post about it but some clever moderator decided it belongs in the bug section nobody ever reads.

Seems like i experienced that just moments ago. I was on the invisible side though. Didnt realise until the end as i dont read map chat, but it seemed too easy indeed.

Had it happen in my game with a necromancer being invis.

I had this happen within the last three days. Enemy thief directly did damage to me from stealth but wasn’t revealed.

Well If a dev is reading this. It seems to be a problem with teleports + rendering.

Unless i have mastered the art of thief and can go perma stealth without having any utilities / wpn combo’s set/used. chances are it is a problem with teleports/rendering (it was either shadow step or steal that made me invisible I did not trait steal for stealth)

(I am using Unload in SS)
