Necro is bugged so it is too strong
necro is highly imbalanced due to mass condition converted and mass condition aoe staff . Signet of spite too strong- 6k basig damage from condtions + cpiple, fumbe, blind and vonu.

You need a skill to convert conditions in to boons or something to remove conditions. This has been a complaint since launch, but you have to consider, casters have to have some sort of advantage since they’re so kitten squishy. Yes, necros have lots of HP, mine has ~31000, but a pure condition damage build like I have, over plus 1500CD with full stacks, has very little raw damage mitigation and can take easily over 15000 damage in a single hit. I’m generally a 1-hit kill during boss events such as Grenth. I just try not to get hit and will run away if it comes down to a hand to hand fight with a high DPS class because I know I won’t win. I generally stay back and lay on conditions to help high DPS team mates out.

I look at it as if it were real life. You can’t expect to run through marks and not take damage. This has been a huge problem in WvW as well, a lot of people, mostly warriors, complaining they can’t just run in to a fort protected by magic users because all those pesky marks cause too much damage. Unless you have something to mitigate the damage, conditions such as poison and bleeding SHOULD cause a lot of damage. I’m not saying that because I run a necro, but think about it, necros are all about dealing damage and stealing life. Conditions, typically a necro’s primary attack, should cause more damage than a warrior’s primary attack because a necro doesn’t have the armor that a warrior has. That said, if a warrior can get to the necro, then the necro should be toast. This is what would truly be balanced.

Provided my skills are set properly, in a 1:1 fight I will almost always take down a pure berserker warrior and it’s not because I’m overpowered, it’s more because so many people who play warrior classes play a hack/slash berserker style and don’t know how to fight a magic user or how to mitigate condition damage. I don’t need to kill you fast, I just need you to keep chasing me so I can keep applying conditions.
