I have the same problem. Like the OP posted, it happens randomly and can be remedied by releasing movement key. It happens for me about once or twice per hour.

Yeah this annoying bug almost got me killed the other day in WvW. At first I thought I was CC’d but then quickly realized that it was a bug. It has happened several times in the last week.
