barrage or traps when i use them they only cast where i stand at !! i cant cast them away from where i stand other rangers are can do it but i cant ????

it’s a trait for traps in wilderness survival i think.. and it sounds like you have fast ground targeting on.. so either keep it and point the mouse where you want to cast then press the hotkey for barrage #5… or go in options turn off fast ground targeting.. then just click barrage then place and click again..

To throw the traps makes sure you have,

Trait line Skirmishing>Trapper’s Expertise (Trap skills use ground targeting and are 50% larger. )

Im not sure what your barrage problem is, it should have a target that you can move around the map.

Another possibility is your mouse might be double clicking if you are using the mouse to activate the skills with the mouse. That will set the skill off near you.
