i am not able to my druid staff or my skills. when i used that level 80 it changed me back to full ranger.
now i am unable to equip my druid staff or use any of the they totally disappear off my skill box. an yet i have the traits of druid all filled on my sylvari ranger. any fix or do i have to re make her?

Could you post a screenshot of your ranger’s trait panel?

Also, is there any chance that you are switching between PvE, PvP, and/or WvW? There’s a different spec for each. I know that for one of my toons, I went to WvW to set the specs (like I used to before HoT) and kept wondering why the elite-spec weapon wasn’t available in PvE later. Took me a while to realize I hadn’t actually set the elite in PvE, too.

In pve you have to train the elite spec first by doing hero points.

Sorry I meant your trait panel, not your skill bar.

The skill bar in both images lacks the icon for the celestial avatar, which implies that you aren’t spec’d to druid in the third trait line.

Like I said, you can have different specs in PvE, WvW, and PvP — your screenshots only show PvE.

ok here is 3 picture the last one is before the patch from yesterday. how much more proof can be asked. i know those was of pve. my druid staff never worked in wvw or pvp. so i guess my only thing to do is to re do her and start from the beginning

I’m not asking for ‘proof’, I’m trying to help you troubleshoot the issue.

The three screens above also do not show the trait panel

• the first is the training panel, which shows you’ve unlocked druid; it also shows that you haven’t equipped the Druid elite trait line, because there’s no celestial avatar option.
• the second shows that you are allowed to equip a staff — that’s because you have druid unlocked; you don’t get to use druid until you also equip it as a trait
• the third panel does show you in celestial avatar mode in PvE, which is good — that suggest that somehow, you’ve equipped it.

What I was looking for is a screenshot of the second tab (not the third), which would show the three trait lines you have equipped. Druid should be third.

Please don’t restart your character; you’d gain nothing by that unless you are encountering a bug I’ve never heard of before. It’s much more likely that there’s something you can do now to adjust yourself or if you & I can’t figure it out together, then you can create a support ticket and get Customer Service to help you fix it.

ok the problem was solved now see the staff picture was only shown as preview. an i know i would lose everything by re making her bag slots and all. ty for your help out to both of you
