When joining a rank game, and before the match actually begins, I sometimes switch characters. When this happen, the game client crashes and i’m asked to send a bug report to anet. However, the match is about to begin…so, I have to close out the send message dialogue box so I can get back in the ranked match quickly.

[Work around]
When restarting the game, I won’t always be pulled into the match. The only way to trigger it, is for me to waypoint to another map. Then GW2 pulls me into the ranked game.

The sad truth is, you are probably going to have to send them the crash report in order to get it fixed — but if you can copy and paste the error message with all the technical details, and submit it separately, that might be enough.

The worst sort of bug: one that takes a week to show up. That’d help explain why it’s still there, though. If it’s super-hard to make it happen, it is even harder to figure out what is actually breaking.

Those crash backtraces, etc, should help with that, so fingers crossed anet can figure it out and banish it.
